Creative Writing Challenge - Your Life As A Disney Princess

Choose any Disney Princess - Ariel, Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, Snow White, Mulan or Jasmine - and write down your life in their shoes for one day. Maybe you could spend the day collecting treasures for your grotto like Ariel, or reading like Belle, or organizing a tea party as Aurora or Cinderella, or thinking about Aladdin as Princess Jasmine. I would choose Belle because I love stories and reading and I can tame any fierce beast. What's your's?

  • Write from Tiger's perspective about launching a rocket from Big Hill.

I know it's not Summer yet, but if you want, you can try these fun creative writing prompts inspired by BBC Children's Sensational Summer Fun.
  • Write about being stuck in a deep hole as a result of an earthquake in your own garden, and the Pontypandy Fire Service coming to the rescue.

Watch Spectacular Sparkly Night on iPlayer, then write down a version of The Beatles' 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds' about Love Monster's fantasy in that episode. Make sure to include every detail about Love Monster floating past fireworks as they go off, and include scenes involving an airport and a few airplanes!

Who knows, maybe either you can make it Love Monster themed, or invite Love Monster and his friends around to enjoy the party further!

At Home Writing Challenge - Invent Something New Day

Inspired by the first episode of the set of new episodes of Love Monster, write down your plan for your invention for 'Invent Something New Day'. You can make it themed around whatever you want - maybe you could make an ice cream dispenser that actually makes candyfloss, or a book machine that brings out any book you fancy, or a musical dragon that plays tinkly tunes when you wind its tail up. At Home Writing Challenge - Tigger-Riffic Tales

Here are two supifferous writing prompts based on this old Winnie The Pooh VHS tape, 'Tigger-Rific Tales', including one based on my favourite story on the tape, 'All's Well That Ends Wishing Well'.
  • Imagine you fall into the well and end up in Wish Land. The cake displayed is coloured what you like and has a thousand candles. Make a list of the things you'd wish for and bring home.
  • Write 'Stripes' from Tigger's perspective, then write a persuasive letter asking to bring his stripes back.
