Check out this Huggies selection of wonderful illustrated books to read to your baby if you have a brother or sister, but sometimes reading them for far too long can leave you BORED TO DEATH!! Why not give these books an exceptionally fun Me, You, And... or I.B.F.Fs twist? That always works for me, I always like to change the stories of fairy tales like Goldilocks & The Three Bears all the time, and now I'm passing the craft onto you with these exceptionally good clean writing prompts.
- Do a Bluey 'Baby Race'-inspired version of 'Ten Little Fingers & Ten Little Toes', as sung by Chilli to baby Bluey. How might other parents in Bluey's world sing the rhyme to their babies, be it with babies Coco, Snickers, Judo or maybe even Rusty or Mackenzie?
- Write a poem based on Tana Hoban's Black On White, about how silhouettes cover the shadows of life and how we are glad to have life's shadow guiding us all the way through even the most difficult situations.
- Write a version of Fuzzy Fuzzy Fuzzy about Furaha and her animal friends back in Africa.
- Write a Me, You, And...version of 'Global Babies' told from Furaha and her brothers and sisters' perspective of all the children of the world they help heal, and no matter how different we are be it animal or human, we are all universal beings.
- Write an I.B.F.Fs version of 'Who Flies, Cat The Cat' about me, Nothing, Hover and Resus discovering all the winged animal friends in the rainforest the lions in the pride live in.
- Write a Me, You, And Digimon Data Squad or I.B.F.Fs version of Peekaboo Bedtime about either Lanka and Agumon or Bingo and Gaspard getting ready for bed and discovering different bedtime rituals, all while preparing for bed with help of their peers themselves.
- Write English versions of all the rhymes of Pio Peep: Traditional Spanish Nursery Rhymes. Maybe you could add a Disney character where the main character should be in one of the rhymes, or give a Me, You, And...take on one of the rhymes if it were about a brave lion.
- Write an I.B.F.Fs version of 'Where Is Baby's Bellybutton?' about me giving Mr. Crudley a bath and trying to do the disgusting job of cleaning out his bellybutton.
- Write a vibrant poem based on Color Zoo about what shapes need to be made to create the animals that dwell in our beautiful world.
- Write an I.B.F.Fs version of 'Baby Animal Farm' about me, Bluey, Chloe, Mackenzie, Honey and Bingo heading off to visit the farm near where Simon's grandma and grandpa live and look at all the animals there. Add your own silly little quotes to us, or make up your own funky movements and put them into the story, so we could be dancing all the way!
