Creative Writing Activity - The Last ABC Learning Centre In Australia

In 2010, all the ABC Learning Centres closed down in Australia. But what if there was one last learning centre open at the request of parents and the Australian government? Using the activities in the link below:
Write some stories from the story prompts below about a main character who attends the centre and encounters a dilemma. For example:
  • A young girl makes a 'Green Zone Box' which she carries around at all times due to her anxiety disorder.
  • A young boy becomes friends with a teddy bear with a green overcoat.
  • A young boy finds a dinosaur shape in the clouds which he calls Darnegot.
  • A young girl tries to persevere with walking stilt cups during an activity.
  • A young girl and her imaginary friend try to take the game of Tickle Crabs their way.
  • A young girl finds a leaf and uses it as a wand to try to make people think the floor is lava.
  • A young girl writes a story about her favourite toy and what it likes doing.
  • A young girl who loves mindfulness tries out a magic spot in the centre and doesn't want to leave.
  • A young boy can't stop saying "Oodles of noodles of Doodles!" and says it during a game of whispers.
  • A young girl tries to balance responsibility as a queen during a role play session.
  • A young boy attempts to make up his own worlds to connect to his feelings.
  • A young girl makes a new friend, and a friendship forms.
  • A group of kids make up their own circus show, and invent silly catchphrases for each of the performers.
  • A young girl whose mother is an artist gets the surprise of her life during an art lesson.
  • A young girl sets out to look for tigers and lions in the centre garden following a mindfulness exercise.
  • A young boy sets out to find large rocks which his friends can use for their activity.
  • A young girl who is good at charades insists on doing the same card every time it's her turn.
  • A young disabled boy isn't invited into a learning activity, so he decides to make his own fun.
  • A young girl thinks up an imaginary world while learning about her feelings.
  • A young girl who has the power to teleport somewhere when overwhelmed engages in the activity of her dreams.
  • A young boy and his bear imaginary friend imagine they're on a desert island.
  • A young disabled girl and her sister participate in a activity that appeals to her needs.
  • A young boy who hates getting his hair cut because it feels like he's 'moulting' engages in an activity that'll change the way he thinks about haircuts.
